I also sat in the white RUF they had for sale. I wish I could sell my house in live in that car. Amazing!

Enjoy your new ride!
They did the PPI/DME on the car for me and I was there last week to meet with Scott and do a brief test drive. *Hans and his team are great and yes, their shop is uber sharp!*
And oh yeah, that RT12 is pretty special alright !
Still pinching myself and waiting for the car to ship. I'm going to be home later today and tomorrow I'm going to dive heavily into some of my projects to distract myself from the waiting.

Oh I know exactly how you feel. It's like time goes by in slow motion when you are waiting for a new car to arrive. Especially a GT3!

Sorry... sort of. I'm looking forward to giving Scott's baby lots of attention and runs on some great twisties in my back yard and beyond. I'm also especially looking forward to seeing Scott post when he has found another Pcar to enjoy. He's a great guy and I really appreciate how he helped me during the sale process. Thanks!

I will have another some day. I am glad it went to a great buyer and I know it will be well taken care of. I promise another one is in my future! Jus not sure what it's going to be yet. I know if I had my dream it would be an RS 4.0, but wouldn't we all want that!

Thanks! Can't wait to get it in the driveway (and take some better pics to share). Sure is better in person.

Thanks Alex. Its been a long wait and I've agonized over what Pcar variant to purchase next for more than a couple of years now. I had driven a couple of variants, but they just didn't do it for me. Lots of life events happened along the way to temporarily derail my plans too. When things got back on track recently, I decided to keep my eyes open for the right opportunity to show up. First of all, I decided that it had to be a GT3. Later I realized that I should clarify my order and focus more clearly on what generation, colors, options, etc. (plus how much would I actually commit in $$ to a purchase). It was only when I finally and specifically narrowed my criteria down to the gen 1 and the couple of colors and primary options that I wanted, that Scott's car just became available.

I had an oh-so-brief test drive after the PPI, and it was somewhat reminiscent of being back in my old air cooled car, (the old school ride, cabin sound, and connectedness to the road,etc.)-- only so much better! (Plus it actually has some serious hp!)

I am pretty excited, but playing the waiting game for it to ship is where I am for now. May take awhile to find its way here- in the far corner of the universe

SiNzz is infamous around these parts
Congrats! I'm not sure if you're from Vancouver, but I don't see that many GT3s around. They're my favorite P-car and always a welcome sight. Post some pics once she arrives!

Thanks! I'm in the Kootenays. My son is in Victoria, so there are some road trips to Vancouver Island planned, (perhaps starting in May). Of course this depends on the route to get there (absolutely need to have any mountain passes on the way free of snow and gravel for sure!).

Gonna have to get some miles on her to adjust to the low lip. The ferries around here and to/from the island will be interesting...

I put up a new thread here today with the arrival and a couple of pics from yesterday.
