Our new to us GT3 arrived in Edmonton today. While there are some rock chips to fix, in general the car looks good. It has a full leather interior and Xenon lights. The car was tracked early in its' life, but then was sold to an older gentleman with a CPO warranty and there appear to have been no issues.

The front end of the car was painted due to the tracking. We are going to cover the entire front hood, bumper and fenders (as well as rocker panels and the trailing areas behind all wheels) so that I can feel okay about driving this on local PCA events.

It was a tortuous purchase process, including some very bad customer service (although very good mechanical service) at Porsche in Calgary.

While we own a 997.1 Turbo and a 986 Boxster (bought new) this will be our first GT3 and I am really, really looking forward to clean roads and being able to drive it.

I must say, the information on this website and at Rennlist, including the thread on LSD, and the help from Matt at Guard Transmission, has been fantastic. I wouldn't have had the courage to proceed without the information I read and Matt's guidance (we replaced the LSD already).

 

Congratulations...She's a beauty! Unfortunately I believe your dealer experience is all too common. Hopefully all thats behind you and can start enjoying one of Porsche's greatest cars.

No, that is at storage location we use and those are other people's car. We have cars stored now at two off-site locations and are working to finish our six car garage at home, as shown in the attached photo.

We are also hoping to buy a rental property and take over the double garage associated with that property.

Oh, how I wish I had Jay Leno's money and storage space!

 

Oh don't we all or at least some of his cars. That's a great looking garage you have there though, plenty of space to do everything.
