Hi guys,


I'm in the market for some seat upgrade for 996 turbo. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to find a solution for this.

In short, I'm looking for someone who has done the GT3 Euro Seats on 996s. I have tried recaro but they are simply too big and cannot fit as the further back you go the narrower it gets. I'm 6'4" and need every inch possible......

If anyone lives in the bay and have these installed on your 996 or have experience please let me know.

I swapped 996 GT3 seats into my 997 GT3. They just bolted in. I did buy an additional sensor for the new passenger seat so the airbag light worked. I had the dealer reprogram the car due to the side airbags no longer functioning.

 

I just got my seats and getting them put in some time this week. Hopefully I will have no issues....
