GT3 brake question

since its been 118 here lately I have
not taken out the GT3 in awhile. This morning I took it out early before it hit 90.
I roll out of the driveway and up to the corner and no brakes. Very little anyway.
I drive around the 'hood very slowly pumping em up then normal for the rest of my drive.
Is this unusual?

I guess I should not neglect it for so long.
I just dont want to take it out and tax it in this heat. Sept/Oct will be here soon.

thanks

ebaker is infamous around these parts
If a turbo can live in the heat a GT3 should have no problem.

The only reason I keep it out of the heat is
when I had my TT and I was talking to a turbo expert (kevin from the northwest)
he said if you dont have to take em out at over 90 degrees dont. He said it does tax the motors at those temps.
So Since I dont have to I dont.

I'm in complete agreement regarding the heat, OG. I've been avoiding the track while the temps are at or near triple digits. Why put the extra strain on the car? I'd rather just drive around town for now and go back to the track in two months when the temps are lower.

As for the brakes, I find that even the stock set up needs to get a little heat in the pads before they bite. The first application never works too well.

I don't buy this "need to get heat in them" with PCCB's. I have never found the initial bite in my PCCB's to be lacking. My car has been sitting for ~7 weeks (lack of time ). I had no brake problems despite the lack of use and the +105F (with humidity)temps when I took her out this past weekend.

I wonder what happened then. All was normal after the initial
pumping em up. I did cahnge the fluid in march to the ATE blue stuff.
it was just odd.
