CF Air Intakes, yay or nay

So I opted for the CF Intakes. My friend says it looks like I'm carrying two small back packs, the guys at Porsche loved it. I love it from certain angles and hate it from others.

opinions?

I still have the white ones, and I can always put them back whenever I want.

If you had a black car the CF looks good, but on a white car.... put the white ones back.

Good to see that some folks have their prioritize in that part of the world :-)

Personally, I think CF has been played out, but if you had other black or CF accents on the car I think it will work.

You have the white so as you said you can always swap them out but I would run with them for a bit. Maybe take a picture of the whole car so it gives us a better perspective.

sam thing happened to me with my rollbar. Coated it in white and wished I had left it in black. I decided not to think too much about it and it worked. It no longer bothers me.

Everyone who looks at the car likes it also so it's staying white.

You should look for the carbon fiber gurney lip that sits on the rear wing. It would tie everything together, and more importantly, its functional.

I'm going to do that, but it is at the bottom of my list. Next up is red roll cage.

My rims are black, and I am adding black stone guards to the car.
what do you mean by some folks have their priorities? :S

Everyone who sees it in person says it looks way better than white ever did. In the pictures the CF doesn't seem to show and it looks like a cheap black paint gone wrong :P

What I meant to say was that, it's good to see some folks have their priorities "straight". I appreciate that you are making modifications to an already awesome car. I personally just can't keep anything stock :-)

Personally, I like it, I say stay with the CF ones. Also CF front canards ala GT3RS 4.0 would also tie them in with the rest of your car.

Cool CF air intakes for my '07 Green RS

I personally like the CF intake covers. I bought a set for my Green '07 RS.
I haven't installed them yet, but the wing is unpainted CF also, so they should match well. How did they install? It looks like the old ones just pull off and the new ones use the holes in the rear lid. There is nothing to unfasten underneath.

Thanks!
