Not much to add. This is a very knowledgable group of guys.
After suspension is def in check:
Practice apexing corners. Very slow at first and of course never early lol!
Early apex and too fast are the most common offenders. Apex a little faster
each time until you get a feel for the limits and resist lifting throttle if you
over cook it. It's almost counterintuitive but add throttle on exit and straighten
it out. Like 512BB said, Once you master it, there's nothing like a 911.

What mooty said. 911's are a unique creature on the track. Most front engined cars (except perhaps some fiats and S2000s) are very forgiving when you lift mid corner. 911s will spit you off the track backwards, the older ones, like my 964 Turbo being waaaaay worse than the new metal.
