Introduction

Hi All,

I just picked up a new-to-me 04 GT3 as a track toy. The acquisition of this car is a long and sordid story that I will write up that includes an alleged smarter-than-your-average-bear gear-head (me) getting hosed by some way-smarter ne'er-do-wells on Ebay...

In any case the car has ~24K miles, some goodies installed (some of which that stay and some of which that go) including Porsche Motorsports exhaust, Moton Club Sports, Porsche Motorsports Center lock setup with one set of good BBS rims and a paperweight that looks like a BBS RE795, roll bar...

I am moving to this car from a Subaru STi that I used to delight in chasing down these Porsches at the track, trouble being that I could not keep the car glued together...

Pictures and details later...

Ray

The car is at Bill's as we speak. Unfortunately my crystal ball tells me that I need a tranny rebuild and I don't think I will have the time for that by the WGI event in 2.5 weeks.
