Thanks everyone. Drove it home today and WOW! The engine and exhaust note is fantastic. I only took it up to 7k so I am just counting the break in miles at this point. I really want to hear it at 9k.. Then I'll have to decide whether I'm going to put on the Cargraphic or Sharkwerks muffler bypass system.. I just can't leave anything stock. what do you guys think? Cargraphic or Sharkwerks?
The PDK is stupid fast. So much faster than the PDK in my last PS4 and faster than any other PDK I've driven. I must say that for short moments, I do miss the 3rd pedal.

The GM is a friend of mine and he threw in a Porsche Tequipment car seat and a baby 911 for my boy. It was a fun day.
Can't wait for the weekend to get some more seat time.

After modding a couple of turbos, I came to a realization. I spent all that money modding it to try and make it sound and handle like a GT3... So after my last turbo I just decided to get the GT3 instead. The torque on the turbos are awesome and the new turbos are quite nice too. However, I really wanted the screaming 9000 rpm motor without any turbos muting the exhaust note.

From your experience with past Turbos, is it hard getting one to sound close to a NA engine sound regardless of the exhaust? I've yet to hear a decent one regardless of what's been thrown on there. Just heard one on a posted video and it sounds like fireworks whizzing up to the sky before going boom.

The dealer is only investing in a future sale with your son, don't think it's a favor! Ha ha. Great build too! Quite perfect. You really splurged on that German First Aid kit though! I might need it after having to look at the sideways pics.

All kidding aside, the GM is actually a personal friend. I'm in the business as well.
turbo exhausts are a hit and miss. I had a BBI Exhaust on my last turbo and that was as good as I could find in terms of sound. Cargraphic or Europe are pretty good as well.

Thanks Haku. I agree with you. The car has really exceeded my expectations. I couldn't wait for the break in period and took it to 9k today. The sound is something else... enjoy your ride too!
