Any dealers with GT3 inventory
Yes Porsche dealers have also told me that Porsche did indeed produce too many 991 Turbo S cars in 2014 and will be cutting back production for 2015.
I always wanted a Turbo S. And due to that glut of them, I got more than $24K off mine brand new and the colors I wanted on a new 2014 leftover. I ended up with a Turbo S for Turbo money.

Congratulations! That is a fantastic deal and you got an incredible car! I drove the turbo S and was blown away how much better it was than my 997 Gen 2 turbo. I thought the 997.2 turbo was the best ever and could not be topped but the 991 turbo S is in another world! Congrats!
And I am going on Goldrush Rally 7 this June. I thought the 991 TTS would be perfect for that. Super fast but comfy enough for a cross country drive.
Thanks. It is the perfect car for what I wanted -- power with comfort and the most acceleration out there in an easy daily driver. I don't really track my cars. But I sure do drive them on the streets of New York City and surrounding areas. I need some ground clearance and some ride comfort. And massive acceleration when I want it. Always wanted a 911 Turbo since I was a kid. I'm 43. Not getting any younger so it was time to pull the trigger.

I get it. 3 911s is a lot unless you are Jay Leno. LOL.
It is staggering to see the lack of product knowledge some Porsche dealer sales people have. I was in Porsche of Newport Beach and the salesman there was an embarrassment. He could not answer questions he should have been able to answer regarding the GT3. I guess in-depth product knowledge isn't necessary.
Perhaps I expected too much. In my particular case at the Newport Beach Porsche, I wanted to make sure I was speaking with someone who knew the product. Maybe he does and maybe my questions were too difficult. I wasn't trying to catch him out but when I asked him how many gallons the extended range fuel tank was he didn't know. I am ok with him not knowing but he could have offered to look it up. When I continued to ask him stats on the car, he said he didn't know. I get it that perhaps not all sales people are as passionate about Porsche as everyone on this site but I prefer the person selling the 911 has some product knowledge especially when it comes to a GT3. Maybe I am off base and wrong.

The most knowledgeable car salesman I ever encountered worked at a BMW dealership and did not stay a salesman. He became a Sales Manager: Richard Marcus of Maserati of Bergen County. A complete car nut. Wish there were more like him.
Seems like reasonable questions. The fact that he did not make an attempt to look up the information is unacceptable, I understand your frustration. You my friend are not off base or wrong. Especially at this level of product, you would expect at minimum an effort to provide you with the correct information.
Do they happen to have a White one for 30k off? Since we're in California, I believe were limited to purchasing from In-state dealers due to our strict emissions?
All new Porsches are 50 state legal regarding emissions and have been for over 10 yrs, so no need to limit yourself to CA
No doubt. I wouldn't buy anything car related in CA...they are silly on pricing. Save 10's of thousands--buy out of state.
Of course not on GT3. HOWEVER, those silly CA dealers mark up a GT3 $10k over and you find an out of state dealer offering at MSRP, then yes, you just save $10k.
