Porsche #6 for me- my first GT3 (2015)!!!
That is a beautiful GT3. I really like the white with red calipers and then having the red carried into the interior with the black. To me the colors look perfect.
The 458 doesn't exactly suck in the beauty department either.
I look forward to hearing your likes and dislikes vs your other 991s once you've had more seat time.
Congrats and use it in good health!

Its partially your fault once David told me about your car and I saw your post here LOL.... I went and test drove it and it was a done deal. I found one that I could get a "car deal" on (you know what I mean) and moved on it. Have you done the SW yet?
Ill need to get more seat time in the GT3 to give you further impressions vs the 458. The 458 has a little bit extra oooomph with the full Capristo (no cats) exhaust and ecu. I say in a straight line the GT3 is actually easier to launch; it almost feels like an AWD Turbo car as there is no wheel spin. The 458's steering is ever so slightly more on point than the 991 IMHO but I do like the chassis feel and overall handling better in the GT3. I feel more confident in turns at higher speeds, barely. The 458 is faster up top with its hp advantage and the F1 Capristo cat fee sound is immense but at times too immense. I like the GT3 for its usability and its, dare I say, less "look at me" styling. They are absolutely two wonderful cars that compliment each other. The F car is more work when it comes to parking and worrying about potential hand prints and attention. But thats expected with the car of that caliber and heritage.
Both are brilliant and to have two 9k rpm cars is an honor.

Lol.. that's funny. Don't blame me, blame David for telling you. Maybe you'll keep this one a little longer than most of your cars..
I haven't done anything to the car yet. Year end is stupid busy, so I'll get around to it in Jan. You know how our business is.
If you just had one car to drive on the street and do occasional track events, which do you think you'd keep between the 458 and GT3?
while you quoted GotBoost?- I think this was directed to me.
Based on your qualification above I would take the GT3... its a far more usable daily driver and track beast at the same time.
Yes, thanks for catching that. It was directed towards you. I'd love both but don't want to sell my 6sp gallardo as it's a keeper for life. I drove a GT3 last week directly after driving the new Huracan and for me the GT3 was hands down the better drivers car. I do like the exotic appeal of the 458, but I love that the GT3 has the latest greatest in tech...
I sold my 458 to put away some cash and purchased a 2015 GT3 last month. For the money the GT3 is hard to beat, it is that good. The F car is a little quicker but honestly the GT3 is almost more fun to drive. The handling and PDK S gearbox are just spot on. I have the Sharkwerks bypass exhaust on mine and love the sound.
(I just wish the GT3 had rear view camera, I get nervous backing up, 458 had a cam)

Beautiful car and I also love the "Check yo self" playing, haha!
Red Ferrari - check
White GT3 - check
Please don't tell me those hills behind you are accessible for mountain biking.
Great taste in cars and colors.
Wife has the same steering wheel in her Cayenne... too bad everything behind that wheel in her car isn't the same, haha
