Also by the sound of it it sounded like a gtr or racecar but from outside looks like regular gt3 and from the mods looks nothing special. What setupd o people use to make it shift like the racecars?!?! Thanks

That car looks amazingly intact. In fact, it doesn't even look like it flipped.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the video that was posted has absolutely nothing to do with the GT3 that crashed at Road Atlanta.

video posted had nothing to do with road atlanta, that much is correct.
as to "wow he was flying, no way he would have made that turn" i'd say he most likely would have had no issue with the turn had his wheel not come off. reeeaaallly hard to keep it goin' when you're on three wheels...
great video; very calm, collected experienced driver. not his first time off either...

If you can manage to stop the video playback at the 39.2 second mark approx you will see a clear picture of the left rear wheel in mid air following the GT3 cuo car before the first impact. The car at this point in time has rotated about 180 degrees and is facing backward down the track. The wheel appears at the drivers right in the windshield just below the rear view mirror.Quite a wreck, driver seems OK. Amazing to me how much damage these cars can take, yet let the driver "walk' away.
The video posted was of a GT3R at the Nurburgring.Someone had posted this in another thread.
Here is summary of what happened to the car.
"5km after passing Uwe Alzen stricken 996 Turbo, Basseng's output shaft tap (threads??), on which the tie rod is fastened, fallow (failed) and the wheel nut with the tie rod flew away, the wheel wound itself under the car."
"And then Marc was only spectator: "I went off like a rocket. The speed was not so high, it has begun with approx. 140. When I took off, I had still good 100 drauf. The Porsche rose backwards highly, laterally with the door over the soil and then into the guard rail hit and then has the car begun a wheel to strike. By radio I announced and thought the accident to the box first of tire damage. One first at the accident scene cleared me up that I would have lost a wheel."

If you look closely at the video, from the in car it also appears as though the totaled car is actually yellow. So sad to see both of those cars damaged, however at least it was driven the way it was meant to be, on the track.

The previous owner put it on
New computer
New headers
New Racing cats
new mufflers
It also came with the BM short shift kit (not installed) and the Manthey camber plates (not installed)
the dyno numbers show a 30 hp gain
(vs stock) at around 7200 RPM so I guess
their claim of 410 is fairly accurate

Did you get my PM? I was in Ridgecrest this week with my 997S cab. I was thinking that it might be nice to get together so I could admire your GT3. Let me know if you'd like to get together sometime. Maybe we could meet @ Charlie's for a beer or something.
