since I can only afford my lowly GT3, I can see what the other cars look and feel like through you who have had them all. Jack thanks for the pics. BTW where is that last pic. I saw that store that makes the 550 spyder replicas behind your gorgeous 430 in the Rides program on the Learning channel. I dont get out of the desert/mountians much.
That store is out in Malibu -- Crosscreek and PCH.

Your GT3 is no lowly vehicle -- it's an amazing car. I know you're enjoying it.

Also, thanks for the kind words. I'm sure Watt appreciates your kind sentiments, as well. I haven't had all the cars, but I do love all cars -- the big, the small, the ones from Europe, Japan and America. This is certainly a great time for performance cars -- lots of choices at many different price points.

If the Z06 and 430 were sketched (or photographed) I'd have to say there's not much in it, looks wise - with the nod going to the Ferrari. But, as they say, "the devil's in the details", and having seen both cars up close, the Ferrari is the better finished piece.

And as for F-cars feeling better from the driver's seat than GT3/2, I'll have to defer judgement to Arling, but from a passenger's POV, only the 360CS has felt better. IMHO

Watt, I really didn't mean any disrespect. You are a very cool guy according to those that know you and I am sure someday we will meet. Let's do a formal design review on the Z06 and see who is on crack .. .me, GM, or their customers. I can't blame GM for making what their customers want ... so therefore my conclusion.

Geezzzz, Noel -- my Elise feels better (more exciting to drive) than the Gt2/3, let alone my first 360 or CS or 430. Those Germans just make such great, but antiseptic cars -- they need more passion. Just kidding. You know what they say about opinions.....especially humble ones.

I'll get a chance next month to drive a CGT under the tutelage of Hurley Haywood and crew at Fontana -- maybe that will alter my opinion of P-cars. LOL

Watt, let me know when, but you've got to bring the stuff.

Amir is out of town, maybe Dean can make it and represent the CGT crowd.

Watt,

I always knew you were the common folk of Malibu -- that's rich (pun intended). The three GT2's, the two GT3's, the Maser, the two Stradale's, that wasn't the real you. You are more the Cobra/Boxster, down to earth, kind of guy. LOL.

BTW, I thought the Z06 was great. Perhaps not my cup of tea, but a tremendous performance bargain. I'd definitely consider it as a dedicated track car, although I do like the "lightness" of the Elise better. It doesn't quite have the "driving/steering feel" that either the GT3 or my F-cars have (with the F-cars being even better than the GT2/3), but that's to be expected. Nevertheless, the Z is a very capable handling car, and it will just take some time to get comfortable with the different "feeling". Sort of like the difference in feel between the GT3 and the CS going over the bumpy section of Turn 8 at WS -- they both can take that turn quite fast, but one car instills more confidence in the driver than the other. I think you know what I mean.

Interior quality is fine for $65-70K car, IMHO. No worse than a non-leather GT3 -- I don't know/understand why people are complaining about it. Of course, no comparison to the CS or F430 interior but at $200k, you should expect and get more. And yes, I do like having choices and the ability to make my cars special with deviated stitching, carbon fibre and the like.....but no zebra/leopard skins please. An opportunity to post PICS, I can not resist.

Two totally perfect cars that are in their own league! 360CS and 430 doesn't get any better then that! Maybe fit an Enzo in there

Watt, I'll be there - PM/email time.

Jack, what is feel? How do we define feel? If you're talking about feeling what you can hear, what you can see, then feel is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain... or are you talking je ne sais quoi again?

Jack, I just can't afford your type of feel, baby. Maybe one day you'll allow me to cop a feel - down Stunt...
