An evolution of the factory Tequipment/Motorsport bar, our 991 RSR bar is made of 4130 Chro-Moly tubing that has been TIG welded and normalized for superior strength and rigidity. A common problem of the factory T equipment/motorsport bar is that it requires the use of 1-piece fixed back GT3 style seats for improved leg room (But is still limited). If you are 5’10” or taller, moving the seat back far enough is a challenge with the factory bar. Our GMG RSR Harness/Roll bar solves this problem while also offering these key features:
- Use of Chromoly tubing that has been carefully TIG welded and normalized at all joints.(meets requirements for POC/PCA)
- Designed to work standard reclining seats or GT3 fixed back seats offering drivers the ability to move the seat all the way back (Not possible with the factory Tequipment /Motorsport Roll bar)
- Comes complete with all hardware to install. Mounts to the seat belt anchors at the B pillar and to the rear upper strut mounts. –(No drilling or cutting of car required, Factory bar requires drilling holes in floor and attaching plates)
- Available in Standard Satin Black finish or optional color matching to your car available

GMG is proud to announce our latest addition to the GMG roll bar family for the 991 chassis. The GMG LMS roll bar features 4130 chromoly tubing to not only reduce weight, but to also increase chassis rigidity throughout the entire platform. While utilizing fully hand TIG and seam normalizing welds, this creates a perfectly clean welding environment for the strongest and lightest weight possible. The LMS roll bar is a 4 point fully closed front hoop section with an integrated cross brace and reinforced gusset plates. The design of this bar is an improvement over our RSR bar in terms of chassis stiffening and strength due to the main hoop mounting to the cross bulkhead of the chassis vs. the seat belt anchors on our RSR bar.
