Sean,

help me out here...

I can catch a f-ing dog show on TV but I cant get coverage for a PCA club race?

What would it take to get a 30min slot on Speed or Outdoor channel for a 18 minute program? I can get the show sponsors. Do installs.. just like Hot Rod TV or the other 500 or so programs out there. I think it is DUMB nobody has done this yet.

Tell us when and where.

Here is the HUGE problem with ESPN2, FoxSnet and Speed.
They use the same production companies to create the shows.
These companies are run by Hollywood non car guys and do not focus on authenticity.
They sell the shows on hype, like hot girls, new trends and ricer bull****. This is why every car show looks the same and has the same format.
The networks use these companies becuase they can get the job done cheap and have proved they can make 22 mins of mindless content to fill the gaps between what feeds the c. networks.
Speed (NASCAR)
ESPN (Sports)
FSN (SPorts)
The demo for club racing is too small and also not in the hot age demos X & Y. They will laff at us if we shop that idea.
Now if we shopped a "battle show" we might have something.
We can ad the hype to sell the idea, but at the same time make it authentic.
I will STFU now cause I am on to something.
Stand By.

BACK OT
OMGF that yellow pinstriping is HOTTTTTTTT

I hear you.

I personally dont know a damn thing about TV. I do know however that I could sell the idea to "backers" and parts places like CDOC and the such.

This idea reminds me of what is happening in the body shop arena. 99% of the body shops out there wont do full paints anymore. Guess what: this leaves the market WIDE the F open for a specialized shop to open and do nothing but full paints.

If you are the only game in town (Porsche TV show)..people will come to you/watch.

Well they do have SWC, but the ratings need to do better before a Club style show could survive or be shopped without the fluff.
The good thing about NASCAR on speed is this.
If there was no NASCAR on Speed, there would be NO Speed.
The challenge is there and that means opportunity.

Back OT..

Fabio, you are THE MAN!!!!!!!!!

Yeah we have, it's time to strike.
If an executive does not understand the culture, I will drive him around the block in the GT3 till he screams for me to stop..and then give us a deal.
