Several online sources have said that there is a standard GT2 in the making and not just the RS.

Can anyone confirm?

What are the chances it will be available in manual?

PDK only for the GT2. It's better suited to the turbocharged engine.

 

You sure? That's a real shame... I would still buy it, but would have preferred a manual. I had hoped for a stick after the new gt3 was released.
