Is upgrading suspension worth it? 997.2 GT3

Hello everybody I just bought a 2011 GT3 and had some questions.
I have been doing research on upgrading suspension. I don't plan on tracking my car very often but always have the bug to do upgrades.

Here are the thoughts I have so far:

1. It seems as though upgrading the coil overs would remove the PASM functionality. I feel like for a primary road car the PASM would be a shame to lose

2. Upgrading control arms will only give you the ability to adjust a more aggressive alignment.

3. Upgrading bushings in the stock arms will have the car be much less road friendly

It almost sounds like there really isn't a need to upgrade anything until I plan on getting more serious about tracking the car.

Thoughts?
