AzGT3 is infamous around these parts
Angry brake problems!!!!

Just got word from the dealer that my steel rotors have cracks after 6 D.E.'s(intermediat group) and 7000 miles. 4 new rotors and pads etc. $2500 and its my $$$. All D.E.'s on short tracks of 1.5 miles or less.(Firebird east and west) Is this to be expected?? Are there any changes to the brakes other than OEM parts that I should consider? $400 per D.E. for BRAKES seems a little stiff.

not news but it's a classic case where the relationship between u & the dealer is important. i've seen the first set of crack rotors covered by warranty if u know how to . now all they see is $ sign if u say DO IT they'll have a BBQ party for lunch.

tell them NO for now & take it somewhere else. u'll get a much better deal if u wait or take it somewhere else where u don't get to charge full retail price on the parts.
