991.2 Manual or 991.1 RS ???

I’ve been in the market for a manual GT3, and I’ve realized the 991.1 RS are similarly priced (maybe a little more) and about the max I want to spend.

I already have a 997.2 TTS which has PDK, so my original thought was to get something more engaging with the manual. But the idea of an RS is very enticing. Plus, I figure both would hold their value well long-term. From what I see the main draw back of the RS is that it’s the older engine design with the “finger follower issue” and that would concern me down the road. I plan to keep the car long-term (already had the TTS 9 years and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon.)

Of course, 991.2 RS is great, but the prices are above what I want to spend and I don’t want to wait for a 992 GT3 either.

Can I get some opinions/advice?
Thanks and happy new year!

.1rs i believe doesnt have the FF issue, only the 3.8 in the .1gt3...i could be wrong, but the 4.0 in the .1rs came from Porsche Motorsports...i went .1rs, unreal car and they have really finally reached their bottoming...i bet when the 992 comes out prices will rise
