Thanks for the pics....not much of a difference from the non-RS GT3 appearance-wise.

I also think is a widebody ... why can't Porsche make the widebody more easy to notice on the 997???

The regular 997 GT3 is not a wide body, the RS is though. I don't think that this is the final design, the rear wing should be different.

Are you sure the RS is a wide body? Why would Porsche use the wider, heavier panels when the main objective of the RS is reduced weight? Just my .02

Bpanos, I heard that Porsche had to go with the wider body because they needed to homologate it for the RSR. I do agree that the narrow body offers more weight saving than the wide body but they might be using lighter and more exotic materials as well.

These pics are of the GT3RS wide body. The the wide body rocker panel are the same as the 997TT, different than the 997 GT3 one piece rocker. I also believe this is not the final design for this car. It is rumored to be faster that the TT and cost more, but has the same GT3 motor! This will be hard to do by just widening the rear fenders and tires/wheels. If this was the case the new 997GT3 would be faster now than the new turbo. (narrower body =less drag) So expect bigger everything (wing, motor, wheels, brakes, $$$$) to be able to beat the new turbo!

Just my opinion!
