Latest update

My sales guy called this morning after he talked to his PCNA rep. He was told that PCNA expects to get the GT3 certification from EPA by the end of this week. They will begin shipping cars out of PDI asap after that, because they would like to close the sales in the month of July. I assume that means they need the revenue to compensate for a soft month.

Hopefully, this will mean that there will be 20-30 GT3s hitting the streets and tracks of NA by the end of next week. All you waiters keep your fingers crossed and try to get some sleep.

Sleep is not a problem. Driving around all the time in my Yukon is enough to numb you out.

My biggest problem is explaining to my wife why I have a pile of parts sitting in the garage but no car to install them in.

Yeah but at least you've driven yours. Mine's been sitting in Baltimore harbor for 2 months. So close, yet so far.

Thanks, Lonnie. Someone on another board may have seen my car on a truck at another dealer in the DC area this morning. I'm awaiting a call from my sales guy at any minute. Now the waiting will get hard again.

GT3 on it's way!

Hi Karl-
I got word this morning that my car was through the PDI and was being put on the truck.

Just remember, when you get the car, wait until you have atleast 500 miles on the car before taking it up to 300kph. (Actually my son had the car up to 294kph-never hit 300...ran out of road)

Good luck with the delivery-hope it's soon.
