One of the moderators on the Rennlist board says his dealer received word that it's coming. I hope so and gave my dealer a deposit

Porsche Prestige in Montreal Canada. Knowing I was interested, the general manager called me to say that he had received confirmation that the RS is coming to Canada and did I want the first one.
I nevere thought it would happen but those who said it would come to North America were right. Now, what exactly an RS will be here remains to be seen. I don't believe it will have the roll bar but that remains to be seen.
Best,

Does not sound like a pure track car based on another moderator from Rennteam.....still hoping.
It has been (semi-)officially confirmed:
the GT3 RS is coming too. Launch is around autumn in Germany. We don't have any official data yet but the GT3 RS is rumored to be lighter than the GT3 (don't expect wonders though) with a bigger rear wing too. PCCB seems to be a standard option, same applies to the "Carrera GT" racing shells (which by the way are very very expensive and don't have the thorax airbags). Rumors also indicate that power is the same or only slightly over the 415 HP in the GT3. The body is rumored to be the widebody of the 997 Turbo/C4 models. The GT3 RS uses the PASM chassis too. Price is rumored to be above the 997 Turbo price tag.
