I am trying to find what the curb weight is for a CGT. FULL TRIP with a full tank of gas in it. You guys the CGT's could you help me out here?

 

I found 3043 lbs. online. . .

and found 3252 another time.

Thats all I got so far.

 

isnt 3043 the dry weight?

The following was taken from the Official Porsche Website.

"Weight Unladen weight (DIN)3,042 lbs (1,380 kg)"


I have also found the varying info regarding the weight on different websites.... Not sure which one is true.

Curb weight: 3146 lbs (1430 kg)

Curb weight: 3258 lbs (1480 kg)

Curb Weight: 3230 lbs (1468 kg)

Car & Driver magazine posted : 3146 lbs (1430 kg)

 

I have heard that the paint or something like that weighs the car down even more than Usual. I Personally like that because its a bit more difficult to scratch and things like blemishes but is that True?

 

I'm interested in these numbers also. Surely there must be one CGT owner who has actually weighed his car.

Actual weight will be heavier than the dry weight that manufacturer advertise. If you want comparison, use the manufacturer's weight.
