I just got my set of BBS Racing Aluminum Gold Center through carnewal.com for about $4500 shipped 2-3wks. They are absolutely gorgeous and super light.

Best wheel for a track car is the BBS Magnesium 1 piece

As on my sig we run these on our cup cars - very lightweight and very strong.
Available in center lock or 5 lug.

We have them available- I have a set of good used ones also if anyone is interested.

email me directly...

You can see more pics of the race car at our website

www.gmgracing.com go to racing.

Forgeline SX3-R

I have the Forgeline SX3-Rs for the track, and the SX3s for the street, black anodized centers, polished lip. Light, strong, and look GOOD!

BBS-race wheels

I've heard that the BBS race wheels with magnesium centers might not be the best choice for cars that are also street driven. My understanding is that the aluminum center units are a better bet. Weight between the two are negligable as well. Those hot one piece Manthey/BBS units are forged Magnesium though, wonder how they fare on the street? They are probably the lightest of all the wheels mentioned in this thread.
