Best gear oil

Since I had my GT3 regeared I have a whining/rattle in my car. I do have the LWF so I try and to mentally block out the rattle it causes. Yesterday it was the worst it has ever been. I have about 300 miles on the new gears and about 600 on the LWF. (I know I should have done both mods at the same time but didn't have the $ at the time)
The tech added Havoline synthetic 75/90 at the time of the installation. I am supposed to take the car in today and let them have a listen (OH, Thats normal, don't worry about it, I can hear them saying)
Do you owners think a change to a different gear oil might quiet the noises down. If so, what are your suggestions as to brand.
BTW, the 2nd gear was whining yesterday and they never replaced 2nd.

Sorry for the long post.

UPDATE
Two techs drove my car yesterday and both concurred with a diagnosis: improperly manufactured third gear and a bad throw-out bearing. The work will be covered under the indy's warranty.

If they are using aftermarket gears you may have to live with the noise. If they are Porsche gears you may get rid of the noise with a new set. I've re-geared several porsches and I could always tell when I was in an aftermarket gear, it whined.

Thanks Alan
I've put a couple of hundred miles on the car since my last post and it seems to be getting more quiet. Throw-out bearing is the biggest problem.
