I have both, GT2 rocks! 430 and stock GT2 are very close, more so than the vid has indicated. 430 is a better, more polished everyday driver. GT2 is a race car not as good in the canyons or streets due to the rear bump steer. If I could have one, GT2 all the way!

i guess thats a fair assessment. the GT2 really IS set up as a race car. prob stiffer supsension which causes the bump steer wheras the 430 is prob loftier in comparison and both weigh about the same 3200 lbs, and the GT2 has less hp but makes up for it with its tq. very close, but i would give it to the GT2 prob 8 times out of 10 in a race. the 430 is a great car as well, but i would def ALWAYS take the GT2 over it as well.

It's a nice compliment to see a four year old GT2 be compare to one of the most high tech and desireable Fcar. I think with enough ego-charged, the F430 may outrun the GT2 someday.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! I highly doubt that. i have been saying this for a long time but with the 997TT running 11.7-11.8@120-121 NOT BROKEN IN mind you, the 997 GT2 will be running high 10s possibly but def low low 11s. it is going to be one hell of a car. i forgot to mention the turbo s, that will prob actually run low to mid 11s which makes high 10s for the GT2 to be very much more than likely.

As we know I am not a fan of the 430, but the Gt2 is not stock, they say it only has exhaust, but as we know changing exhaust on a turbo car makes a BIG difference in power, especially since this in Europe and most likely not running any cats. Stock for stock, they would be very close.

Yeah I think he got the point!
Exhaust make the difference...but the GT2 shown in the video goes away as fast as the speed raises...so...it's difficult to say.

Is there anyone that would be so kind in making a video of both stock cars?

mechanically...ferrari aint got nothing on porsches!!!! but for the pimp factor, I would go with a 430 or 360 cs any day! If you want power to pin you to your seat! boosted porsches are the way to go in my opinion!

Great video, exhaust def makes a difference, but the GT2 started pulling pretty hard, hmm would be interesting stock for stock!

stock for stock prob only a slight edge to the GT2, but def closer. Any mods its no contest, GT2s are cars that pull like beasts from a roll.

nice vid, but the stripes and the "69" on the GT2 are pure cheese.
