I was actually at the SF auto show talking to the AM rep there. She said that it actually took them a lot of modifications to get the AM DBS to roll like that, since the car is designed naturally not to flip.

It is actually almost the production standard of the VM Vantage, with the same engine and tranny, only modifications were done for pit lane efficency and safety.

sexy car, not the sexiest by any means, i still find the 911 to be better looking though. and the CGT would def be one o the sexiest every built, and the gallardo is up there, and prob the bugatti. i happen to like the dbs sport seats they had in it.

Although I am a fan of Porsche engineering and performance, the basic 911 is hardly a looker at all, IMHO, much less aesthetic competition for an Aston Martin DBS. The GT3RS looks awesome, but in an exotic race-car kind of way. For me, Porsches are about the driving, not the looks; although the rear half of a Cayman is nice.

The DBS is the next Vanquish replacement. I was told during the auto show the car will be out in the next year or so, estimated value at $300K
