Any more pictures of this car?
No, it's a different Luis. Awesome guy, very experienced around the tracks.
It sounds amazing, and MiniDHinkle, before you judge the car, at least learn some more about it.
Almost every panel replaced with Carbon Fiber versions. Lexan windows, etc. Interior completely gone, single recaro pro racer seat,
(except when he gives rides around tracks for folks, then he puts in a passenger seat). Not a typical 996 for sure.
That car would make mincemeat out of most things out there considering how light and powerful it is.
It's pretty much a street converted to cup car, and compared to a 997 GT3 Cup, which has 400hp, Luis's car at 2400lbs
weighs about the same and is def. putting out more power.
Couple that with the fact that he's an experienced driver...
Great photos too Kirb. Hey don't forget to email me about the photos you want!

His username is GT-Racer. And yes, the car minces most things on the track, especially when driven by Luis.
Some crappy vids I took on my digicam at Infineon:

His engine wasn't tuned properly and he didn't have the Cup Car intake there, so it's a lot faster now. Even so, he was passing cars right and left there, before he got black flagged for being too noisy

Hey. I took that picture. Equipment used was a 5D with an 85mm lens.
Owner is Luis. He goes by GT-Racer on here.
More pics from that day/drive can be found here:

BTW, more of my photography is in my signature. I don't shoot cars though, but you can commission me for work if you're interested in having nice shots of your car(s).
