Sounds like you will have the perfect garage!! Hardest part will be deciding which one to take to the track!

Cup Car requires a trailer, and a vehicle that can pull that trailer. Also, will a generic Porsche dealer service cup cars?

The RS can be driven to and from the track, to dinner after the track event, etc.

The substance of the article was the RS is a better track car but only for a very few drivers. If you have the skill level to extract the little bit more in performance than the GT3 resulting in a little faster time, then it is worth it if going around quicker is critically important to you.

Though I love the idea of you owning both (of anyone owning both really), my one reservation would be that the GT won't get track time. Certainly I understand the desire to go ***** out in whatever track car you get, and that doing that in a cgt has huge inherent risk, but would that then mean you wouldn't get to drive the CGT that way? If you would not drive the CGT at the track upon getting an RS, I really have to say don't get the RS..

who the hell am i kidding.. you got one.. get the other.

i have come up with a few solutions....

Firstly, get the gt3rs...it's a beautiful car and you will undoubtedly enjoy it

Secondly, don't get the cup car unless you are prepared to endure all of the extra expenses

Thirdly, I think that you will enjoy the GT3RS more (as a track car) then the GT....however, i think you will still take the gt out every once in a while...and if you don't, i can and if i can't...well, then you can use it as a weekend driver...cruiser etc.

Cheers,

Kamil......i think you should do for it...it will be a beautiful family of p-cars

My goal would be to take both cars to the track -- now I just have to find someone willing to drive the RS to my track days....

Bring them both to Atlanta, park them in my 3-car garage, and we can hit-up Road Atlanta frequently.
