Why are you apologizing for these assumptions and accusations? He said he bought a CGT, then he asked where he could look at one and sit in it to see if he liked them. Even if it was his friend posting instead, which was never mentioned in the post, I still have no clue why he's never seen his friend's car that he liked enough to let post under his name. Then he goes through a whole series of cars within a couple of weeks that he is supposedly looking at, from an RS4 to an e55 sleeper, to a CGT to a Gallardo convertible. Again, doesn't mention that he's not really looking at some of them for himself, as he specifically said in his post, but rather for friends instead.

He may really own a 430 and be in the market for a CGT, but the confusion was entirely of his own making if so, and the trend of his posts was entirely consistent with many of the poseurs we have had on here. What else could we have assumed, given the misinformation we were given and the direct lies that he told? Don't apologize for me . . .

Mexico: Well, you are right. That's why I included "understand where we came from", because we had all the reason to. But, in our accusations, many of us lost tact and simple questioning and resorted to poor form. And lastly, because he had to repeat himself so many times from people calling him out on the same things. If you're going to throw **** at him, read his entire thread before posting.
I'm not defending him, I am just trying to make 6speed a happier place for everyone.
I think if we do suspect someone of being a fraud, we should just ask them POLITELY for proof while explaining our need to. It's completely legit, and prevents the newb (if legit himself) from having a sour enthusiasm when entering our community. If he fails to adhere with out requests of proof, then resort to banning.
If he's a fake, ban him. Period. If he's real, at least make him happy and welcome to join our community. Oh well.
