As it turns out, not everything that comes out of the mouth of certain german owners of german tuning houses...turns out to be true.
Phoenix, i was told this by "someone" at 9ff. Well, I had a list of statements that needed verification - and sadly this turned out to be false.
The car that I posted pics of is NOT CGT based - but a custom 9ff supercar.
No idea on when its done or not - but suffice to say, I'll believe it when I DRIVE it!

I think there will other German tuners that gets there first, so I can understand that 'a certain tuner' is eager.

I'm still failing to see what the hold up is. Building the actual turbo system is cake, especially on a rear engine car like the CGT. If they can crack the pcm, drop some lower compression pistons in it, and a couple other tricks it shouldn't be a huge issue at all.

I think the same thing bu i'm pretty sure gemballa has taken more adavnce in this process, i found a forum where the son of the owner of the white mirage gt said (not axact words) "yes it is less than 700hp yet but the twinturbo 1000hp conversion is nearly complete", just time to wait a few months for him.
My bad i didn't reminded very well : here is the correct quote: from germancarzone forums
so is it true the Gemballa CGT has 1000 horses?
it is true, but not at the current moment it will take another 1 and a half year weve been waiting for this car for 1 year now to be done right now its 700+hp car he is waiting for the engine to be finished from gemballa wich will take another like 1 year and a half then send the car back.
I would like to see a flat black mirage gt, with guard red lettering, interior with black leather and red stitching, guard red instrumentation, and the twinturbo 1000hp 5.7l, when i will win the euromillion lotery
