I was unaware that Porsche was restricted to a 3.6L engine when designing a performance oriented car. That explains a lot of things.

I guess the test just shows how much BETTER the GM powerplant is compared to the GT3...

OK, what have you been smoking a GM powerplant "better" than a Porsche powerplant, how do YOU come to that conclusion?

Well since the Porsche is better at everything else and still runs the same lap times, I figured it was an easy conclusion.

And "IF" the Z06 came with the same tires used on the RS, the Z06 would have SMOKED the RS around that roadcourse FOR SURE!!!

Lets not talk about design as that is completely subjective. In my eyes, ANY Porsche for the exception of the CGT looks like an oval turd. The Z06 looks 10x meaner, 10x sleeker, and 10x more aggressive. You see how silly that sounds? Ya, because looks are subjective, so lets not talk about that.

you would think that this would spank the RS
IMO, the results really don't make the z06 look that great!

Hmnn, Porsche's don't depreciate? What about the CGT which is has lost about 1/3 of its value (you could buy a Z06 with the depreciation), the GT2 which has lost about the same and any 911 whether a turbo or the slower models all of whom have taken significant hits.

Well the Z06 never ever needs air in their super duper tires, and Porsche's have to check their air pressure's every week.
Z06 wins.

This is where the price difference comes in, with a porsche you pay for better suspension, better tires, better build quality, better track reliability, better braking (reliable), stronger transmission and drivetrain higher quality materials.

When it comes to the track all these things are important because they are things you would end up replacing on the vette or would have to replace from the get go.

it better since its the same weight, twice the displacement, and 90more HP... if the Z06 with Rs cannot beat the RS then Chevy shouldn't even be making cars... would be a disgrace to automobile manufacturing...

that oval turd you're talking about is the worlds most renown sports car or THE BENCH MARK for sports cars... I personally think the Z06 is the ugliest piece of **** there is out there... and thats just my opinion...
