Finally got a look at the 997 Gt3 in person, a black one. Must say the the black doesnt do it justice. Scottsdale Porsche dealer.

why no painted lip? I prefer the GT3 RS look where its all painted.

black wheels dont seem to compliment cars much. Im sure the Original silver finish would make them stand out better. imo

I agree. That car would look a lot nicer with the lips painted black, and clear lenses for the side blinkers. Someone posted thread show such a car on a truck last week and it looked mean! (it's now the background of my laptop).

 

I don't think that car can look bad in any color. I think we're gonna start seeing the GT3 front bumper on a lot of non-GT3s very soon.
