AMAZING how a proper set of wheels and a small suspension drop totally transforms the look of the 997TT!

it goes from geeky looking wallflower with thick glasses and braces, to a f*ckin' prom queen just like that!

thanks for sharing!

I received the following info from Dave at Wheel Enhancement:

Garrett, here is the rest of the information for new Champion MS61 forged magnesium wheels:

Front - 9x19" 53mm offset, 18.5 lbs.
Rear - 12x19" 44mm offset, 20.5 lbs.

These wheels are only being produced to fit the 997 GT3RS, 997 Turbo, 997 Carrera 4S and Carrera 4. There are no plans to offer this particular wheel for the 997GT3 or any other narrow body fitment at this time.

As you can see, the magnesium wheels save a total of 1 pound of unsprung weight when compared to your RS98's. There are 3 sets being built that will arrive sometime in May, a set of these wheels will be $8,000.00, plus shipping. We will accept preorders with a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit.

Can they be used for daily driving?

Dymag is still lighter but doesn't look as good imo.

why can't it be used for daily driving? just watch out for the holes.

Here is what we know about the new forged wheels from Champion. The price for this set of wheels is $8,000.00. Comparing the RS98 forged aluminum wheel to the weights of the forged magnesium MS61 wheel quoted by Wilson from Champion Motorsport show that you would save 8 ounces each front wheel and 6 ounces each rear wheel. Wheel Enhancement is a stocking dealer for Champion Motorsport wheels, suspension and Tubi Exhaust products. You can talk to Dave, John or me at 310.836.8908.
