What a complete waste. The guy have one of the best track cars in the world and F'ed it up with dumb *** rims that must weigh 100 # a piece. If your going to do that, get a TT or another cruiser car, not a GT3. Good Grief.

 

These wheels are forged unlike the gt3 wheels, the fact that these wheels might be 20's will definitely compromise the ride but i dont think they would be much heavier.
I honestly dont think the wheels would look bad if they werent polished or painted white...
And then again, they are just wheels. maybe he has a set of lightweight 18's for the track...
Alot of us put full body kits which almost makes the car unrecognizable.

It's just wheels, and although not the prettiest or most apropriate ones - I've seen a lot worse.

hey sorry neverfastenough, i did remove the pics, not because of the flaming but because i dont know how to really post pics so i remove my old ones before the system allows me to download more. i will figure it out sometime. but this thread was pretty old.

honestly this was a while back and look how many flames this poor guy got. it is just wheels. i think he is in the business though, all of his cars were modded very heavily, this one only has wheels. he has a 430 out front right now with a bunch of stickers, hre's and other stuff i cant identify.
others here have done much more extreme stuff to there cars in terms of paint/bodywork...

 

Putting oversize wheels on a GT3 is like putting sugar on your toothbrush.

shawn, this is one of the most easily reversible mods.
i doubt he would try to do any performance driving with 20's.
but when these guys drive/park around hollywood they like there car to be different/noticed.
think of how many people would say "hey a gt3" vs "hey look at those white 20's".
im sure its no different in florida...

Otherwise it is just yet another white GT3.
