The STi is a great car for what it is. Since a lot of people had a say in this, the STi is a more reasonable car for the masses. I personally voted for the GT3, but the STi was second on my ballet. As long as the new E60 530i did not win I was happy

I was just watching this on TV last night. I was a little shocked that the GT3 did not win as it sweeped almost every performance category. But I think price was also taken into consideration and the STi is the best bang for the buck performance car. How the E60 530 even made it onto the top 5 finalists is beyond me.
