How does the GT3 clutch compare to the Boxter which I drove today. It felt somewhat heavy but caught late.

Well, I was in a GT3 a week ago... the clutch was substantially heavier than the one in my old 996TT (which was fairly light). I've never driven a Boxster, but I'll bet it's clutch is similar if not lighter than a TT's.

Clutch is heavy but as a DD it is more then fine even in traffic compared to the late 80's 911 up from the floor pedals those clutches were hard this car is easy compared to those....

That is by far Exaggerated, I drive from Sunny Isles to 54th and US1 5 days a week in the car and I had a 997TT for 3 weeks prior to getting the GT3

The GT3 has a haevy clutch. It is not 10x any clutch that I have experience with. If it is 10x TT, then TT has a really carppy clutch!
The GT3 clutch is heavy but totally comfortable in traffic or otherwise. The clutch feel is one of the best in the industry if not the best for the purpose of the car.

X3. Did not even notice it after 10 miles. Got chicken legs? Please don't take this the wrong way but no where near 10X.

Nope. I have no experience with a 997 GT3, only with the GT3 RS, and the RS has a heavier clutch than the 997TT. I drove my 997TT in to pick up my RS so I noticed it right away. Got used to it and did not notice it after 15 min or so. No big deal.

That's what I wanted to hear. I plan on keeping my Turbo so I guess it won't be that easy going back and forth between the 2. Then again if I find I'm not driving the Turbo much I'll sell it but I do love all that turbo torque, anyway it will be a nice choice.

heavy clutch is heavy clutch. more of a natural clutch feel without any mechanical assistance like Turbo if u ask. LWFW has nothing to do with clutch pedal feel but the lighter weight allows the engine to rev more freely & faster.

I don't think it will be a problem at all. Once you get used to both a 2 min mental adjustment is all that is needed. Keep the AWD turbo for track days when you are sure it is going to rain.
