Well, I'd go with the Stradale... but that's my "it" car so I'm a bit partisan in that respect.

Since it's not your only car, I vote for the CS.

+1. If there's any way to get both, it's probably worth the experience. But if you have lots of time with Porsches, then it's time to try the other "drug".

If you havent seen this video maybe this will change your mind.

PCH this one is for you.

If you want to blow your money, pretending that you have a fast car, then the CS is for you. Notice this is the OLD GT3 with 380HP keeping up with a 430.

If you want the fastest car and the more competant car the Porsche is for you. If you want to pose and look pretty, then Ferrari is the way to go.

Pretty remarkable that a 380HP GT3 can keep up with the 480HP 430. German engineering at its finest guys.

My condolences.

how many of the above opinions have owned both? i see 2 strad owners, andrew and ylshih. any own both and can speak from experience?

actual data is irritating, isn't it, becuase it limits the BS.

but having owned 2 strads for 12k or so driven, and now a 997 gt3, it's a tough call.

if i could have a Euro strad here it would be my choice, but the US strad is a shadow of the euro. the last one I bought [third] i returned, seemed so torqueless for the $.

the US strad and gt3 are pretty close, and right now i'm picking the 3. but you should try them both if you can write the cheque. 3's can be found for window and 120 with PCCB is a great value. Strads are holding up in the 180-190 and may go up when people realise the 430 light pista is not coming to USA

do a search on fchat and rennlist and find the other guys who have owned both. Amir comes to mind.

Who is your source that says the 430 Light is not coming to the US?

As much as I love Porsche and the new GT3, The CS is my absolute favorite car and I would choose it in a heartbeat.

The CS is my dream reasonable car. Its perfect , and has it all.

Its not easy to drive on the track but can be used as a DD, has enough trunk space for a 4 days trip for 2 + helmets, has the best noise in the world bar the F50 with Tubi and is reliable enough for you not to worry.

I havent driven a GT3 yet, i love them but they dont have the character of a CS or its presence. Its probably faster around the track but then id probably be faster than both in an Exige S...
