if u have them shipped direct from Germany the cost will of course be higher also add few hundred bucks on duty fee. Evan's price is not out of the line. just to clearify.

The seats are basically the Carrera GT seats with seat rails to fit in a 997.

When me and our parts guy have some free time, I"ll try and get a full cost for a pair of seats with everything needed for a proper install. Is it safe to assume that all you want is the seats, and you will be acquiring the seatbelts, seatbelt mounts, etc on your own?

According to my dealer, the complete pair of seats with rails is $8,985.68 retail.

HUM, must have gone down a bit, last time I checked was when they were not even available in the US yet, now that they are the price must have dropped. Well thats good, but I have to say I have a lot better things to do with 9K, like pay 2K MAX for Recaros (or 996 GT3 seats) and spend 6K on a full RSR exhaust (If I had a 997GT3)
