Bbs Wheels And Slicks

Hi guys
there seems to be a question on what is the proper size and offset in 18" and what size slicks to run with that wheel configuration for track events-ANY one have similar setup? We'd appreciate input very much. thanks Mark

sasportas has a spectacular aura aboutsasportas has a spectacular aura about
18 inch

RA-1's are the only tires that come close in 18 inch - 245/40/18 - 305/30/18. Is anybody running these tires? The problem is that the other tires (cups and hoosiers) don't have rear tires that are 26.3 inches tall.

Absolute tire diameter is only to keep the speedo accurate - I don't know of too many people watching the speedo on a track day. You just need to keep the ratio of front/rear diameters the same

Gt3 Tires

Since I have NOT been able to configure 18's with slicks as of this date, I've decided to recommend to my clients to stay with 19's. I see no advantage in 18's without slicks since it comes with pilot cups to begin with! thanks-Mark-www.formulamotorsports.com
