So very true, all these dumbasses that enter these events (all of them, Gumball, Bullrun, Cannonball, whatever), are complete morrons that have no respect for other peoples lives. There should be major jail time for anyone caught racing in these.

Lol,she was actually given the Spyker by Bullrun as a gift for to take part in the run eben though they well be paying her extra dollars, its all in the name of rating, they could have put Danica Patrick or someone else, but we all in Paris+some else (Nicole Riche am guessing)=Rating (ahaha). Oh by the way Paris cant even drive the car because it a Manual (she doesnt know how to drive manual). They also must have forgotten they miss Paris well be going to Jail (Not that long though), for DUI and other charges.

Oh here's mis Paris and the Spyker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu92dOr1yDU

Tell me how you really feel about me I guess since I did one of these events (Gumball SF to Miami) I must be a morron and have no respect for people

You of course have every right to give us your opinion but as one who did the event must at least defend myself and others who did the drive in a fun and safe manner. Most people actually on the Gumball drive were very safe. It's always those individuals who are very unsafe that give events a bad wrap.

Me and my co-driver had a blast while being very safe.

I don't think all the blame should go to these events. If I were driving and something bad happened, I would not blame the event but myself for being stupid/careless/not respectful on public roads.

Bottom line is we are all adults and we have to take responsibility. With that said though, these events do seem to attract people who don't have respect for others and laws!

Fred,
I can beleive that some would drive "safely". But you hit it right on the head in your last line. I bet your a pretty damn good family man as well....wouldnt you be pretty upset if someone you loved was killed because of something like this.

^^^ hilar ious @ your signature.

but disagree with your comment "no respect for others lives", if that was the case, then none of us would buy fast cars, because any instance of us speeding would also mean we have no respect for others lives.
(I personally think truckers have no respect for others lives)

When these guys enter these events, they're told to obey the laws, respect speed limits etc...

They may be told obey the laws, but the organizers of these events know damn well that "most" who enter are not planning on doing so. We have all seen the videos of many drivers doing some pretty foolish **** like driving on the shoulder and inbetween cars. You cant argue the facts.

These events were so much better when they were not so comercial.

Oh and the sig quote of you is just an explanation of your political posts. It fits very well.
