GT2: The right choice.

Hi all. Currently own an '02 twin turbo with an ecu flash and a psi exhaust. Really enjoy it. Don't do any track time. Car is coming off lease in a few months. Considering an '03 GT2 with about 17k miles for about 100k. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Will you consider going to the track? I'm a non-Porsche owner, but I have accumulated a lot of knowledge browsing these forums...How about a 997 Turbo in a few months preowned? I'm sure some Porsche owners will have better advice though. The GT2 is sure to be amazing, but you should definitely consider heading to the track!

You never hear of anyone regretting ownership of a GT2, me included. I only regret having sold it after 3 years. They are very unappreciated by most non-owners. They are a little more of a "driver's" car because of the suspension, but gosh they are really fun to drive. Also, I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the 2 wheel drive versus 4 wheel drive factor. GT2s just require a little more respect (but I'm not a big fan of most driver aids other than ABS).
