GT2/3 shifter - Boxster really?
getting ready to replace the B&M in my gt2 and the mech at BH told me putting in a stock gt2 shifter is just a boxster shifter.

can anyone confirm? thanks

Thanks to Fred, I got to drive a base Boxster; the gearbox feels nothing like the GT3, in fact the whole car feels nothing like what I expect from a Porsche - MHO.

I think the biggest difference is due to the far superior 6 speed used in the GT cars. Things like steel synchros in place of brass among other things. Hell, the std 6 speed can't even be serviced!!
