If it gets to hot in the cabin!!!

Just finished the install on the GT3 seat mounting bracket by Akkurat to hold the billet mount Safecraft 2.5lb Halon Fire extinguisher. Special thanks to George at Akkurat and DBlessing.

Bracket is about $90.00 excluding billet machined FE bracket and Halon FE. Here's a link, speak with George the owner...

They have a pic of the bracket. It comes in Black anodized if you want...That's what I got. This setup is specifically for the safecraft set up. Holes drilled especially for it. Use something different and you will need to drill. It affixes where the seat bracket attaches to the sliders, so it slides fore and aft with the seat...and you can stack the brey-krause sub bracket bar on it for harness use uf desired...

the sub bar that Carnewal sells (that I saw at George's shop) also fits.

I will be doing a fire extinguisher installation and I am looking into the mount that Chris has and the Brey Krause mount. I have two issues to contend with. The first is the anti-submarining bar and the second is an electronic component that is under the passenger seat. I know I would have to buy the BK AS bar with the FE bracket and I know that Chris's bracket works with the stock Porsche AS bar. The question is whether Chris's FE braket will work with my electronic component. The only way I will be able to tell is to see a photo of Chris's bracket with the seat removed. Basically an identical shot to the one below. Does anyone have a picture of Chris's bracket attached to the sliders with the seat removed??? Under-bracket clearance is my main concern.

Ken, call George at akkurat. Explain what clearence you are trying to get and maybe he can help with your decision...How much clearence do you need??? Remember, the bracket mounts on the same studs as the sub bar. Looks to be similar clearence as the BK FE bracket shown above...

Ken, If you present sub-bar clears, and if you imagine your present sub-bar on the seat rails continuing to slide forward and clears your gear the Akkurat plate should work just fine. The bottom of the plate is essentially at the same elevation as the bottom of your present bracket (perhaps 1/8" lower). Call George, I think he may even have a picture of thier plate coupled to a subbar like yours.
