Not this year...last year the F40 won its class, and the CGT won its class....this time, no entries and a lot more time to enjoy the other cars...a real pleasure.

This last pic deserves its own post ! The Grand Marshal of this years 30th Ault Park Concours was the legendary Vic Elford...all porschephiles know that Vic Elford was part of the victorious tandem that won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1971 driving the incomparable 917.

Here is the porsche giant...

couple quick questions. why do the older aston emblems say "david brown"?

also, why does W8MM's CGT have red calipers?

David Brown was Aston's principal during its heyday...all the older Aston's produced under his reign are referred to as "David Brown" Astons...

Subsequently, Aston went through a number of changes and owners, Victor Gauntlett etc etc, until a new era of recent stability and very, very good cars.

I'm sure W8MM's calipers were ordered that way....

W8MM = Mike Valentine who is pretty much a god to me! I have been saved from more tickets than I can even begin to remember.
