GT3 or F360 Spider...getting itchy to buy
Buy a GT3 if you are a driver and an enthusiast.
Buy a 360 Spider if you are a poser and like to be smoked by GT3's.
The two cars appeal to two totally different types of customers. Since you are asking this question, I say you buy the 360 and get it out of your system... a hardcore enthusiast would maybe consider the Stradale, until he realized the 997 GT3/RS is still the superior car.

I have a GT3 which replaced a 360CS. The GT3 is as good a performer as the 360CS, if not better. The Ferrari sounds great, but believe me, GT3 sounds awesome too, different than Ferrari, but no less. Somebody here said the GT3 is 70's technology pushed to its limits, not so. The GT3 is a very modern car as proven on track or street. The GT3 is more comfortable than the CS and the interior is just fantastic. Ferrari reliability has improved significantly compared to 70's and 80's. As someone mentioned here, Enzo finally featured a chain as oppose to a belt, taking care of a major issue with the repair/maintenance/reliability of moving the valves, but sorry, 360 does not have it, 430 does. On the looks department, GT3 is quite an attention getter, but F 360 is one of the most beautiful cars ever built, IMO. It gets plenty of attention.
Bottom line, if you want attention, get the F car. If you want an F car with performance, get the 360CS or 430 (I prefer 360CS). It won't disappoint and is quite capable on track, no less than GT3. If you want an excellent car with superb performance and don't care so much about attention of others, get the GT3, if you can, get the GT3 RS. Finally, if you got enough in the bank, get both.

If you're about looks, definitely go for a Gallardo. You can get a used Gallardo coupe for the 140s nowadays.
Owning a used exotic is not all about paying for the services. You're liable for all the maintenance, even if using your comprehensive insurance, it will still bite you in the *** one way or another.
What can and can't be afforded is, in most cases, subjective to the person paying and is based SOLELY on the idea of, "Is it worth it to me?"
Under that notion, I'm sure this fellow could buy both cars, but it's probably not worth it to him

My thoughts exactly.
People are acting as if a 360 isn't a hardcore performer and a formidable track car. I've never driven one, and maybe this is just marketing and media hype speaking, but I would imagine it is.
It just so happens that many, if not MOST Ferrari buyers are posers unfortunantely.
