I totally agree with you as my M5 beats 997TT to all day long and the only Mod i have is an Ecu upgrade and exhaust....

What mods to you have?

I believe you have the vorsteiner hood? whats the front spoiler...

Now my M5 is a monster and eats 997TT all day long for lunch even w/ the 1000 lbs. difference.

Multiple cars on the stable but the M5 is the monster.

I must clarify the discussion. When discussing who the M5 can out run and pull on, this deals w/ stock 997 TT. An aftermarket modified 997TT is another animal. The added power and lighter weight makes it very tough to beat.
Do not intend to upset the modified 997TT owners. I love the Porsche as by the fact that I have a GT3 and a GT3RS. I do prefer NA motors all day long but turbos are so easy to enhance power just w/ software and boost adjustment. The NA motor you spent big $$$ and gain maybe 20hp.

Cheers gentlemen,
GT3Ranger

Hey brn-997tt in response, the hood on my M5 is the Vorsteiner piece. I really like it. The fit in the front is a little off but that they all seem to have this.
The front spoiler is also a Vorsteiner piece. This a one piece across as opposed the more commonly used 2 piece flippers. This is a full CF piece. What I like most is that I have never seen an other M5 around or in the forum w/ this spoiler.
Cheers, GT3Ranger

What do you guys think of this CF combo. We were messing around in the shop and thought this would look really cool on a 997. The stock top piece of mirror with the carbon bottom. The oposite would probably look really cool too, but we don't have any top pieces laying around right now. Tell me what you guys think.
