Thanks guys..

This was a really nice example of a GT2. Even before the mods..
It was very clean car .. Which is very rare most GT2's tend to be abused..

Great car and the owner loves it!!!!

Fabryce, where did you get and who installed those gauges? I've been told that all of the aftermarket gauges do not illuminate across the gauge evenly when you activate your headlights. They are brighter in the middle of the gauge. Is that true? Is there anyone out there that can guarantee the same results as the OEM gauges? Red ones, of course.

And, can you get some that say GT2 in the middle of the tach? (Like factory?)

The factory Gt2 tach doesn't say Gt2 on it. Only the Gt3 and I believe the turbo have the nomenclature indicated on the tach. But you probably already knew that, just being facetious, I bet.

I know, my buddy wants ones that says GT2 on it. I am sure he would be down for a set of gauge faces if you get some as well. I heard it is a pain in the *** to change them. Fabryce, can you guys get them or do you need to change the whole cluster?

Quote: Yep. That's the GT2 that was for sale at Carlsen. My former car. A friend of mine in LA owns it now.

I'm in on a group deal. I've also been told that it's a pain in the *** to get the needles set correctly after the install. One guy on Renntech said he had to remove the cluster and cover, reinstall it, drive it 5 times before he got them close enough to stock to where he was happy. He also said the new faces didn't illuminate evenly on the gauge when the lights were activated. I'm not going through that for merely an aesthetic change. I would rather just spend the money on a new gauge cluster in red and plug her in.

That's my rig and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! Especially after Fabryce worked his magic on it!

The car feels faster and way more involved than my old Ruf RTurbo 550. Much more fun than my 997GT3RS, which lacked the punch that I require in a toy. Not quite as sexy as my Strad, but way more fun!

I sent Fabryce more hi res pics to post of the car with the new Champion RG5 wheels. I will take a stab at posting one low res pic right now.

Thanks for the kind words and best regards to all!

Rob

She's for sale now. I'm pretty sure I need more posts to advertise here, but if anybody is interested just PM me. Or look at the car on Rennlist classifieds or ebay.

The car is perfect. I'm just bored as I haven't done a car deal in 2009 yet and it is almost February!!!!!
