I am not enamored with the GT2's looks (or the 997TT's for that matter). That would be my main reason for the taking the F430. Given the price discrepancy, I'd rather have a 997 GT3 and an Audi S8 for the same money.

Anyone have any good sound clips of the 997 GT2? To me, the 996 GT2 doesn't really sound that dramatic/exotic or whatever you want to call it. Hopefully the 997 GT2 sounds much more unique and aggressive.

It's got such a hollow/exhaust resonance when cruising or accelerating briskly, no turbo noise, sounds so damn exotic! I think that is one of the reasons why i'm so content, I can't use the insane power on these NY roads/traffic, so I just love listening to its sounds!

Thanks for the vids! It really does sound much better than stock.
Just hoping the 997 GT2 sounds great stock so every little alteration you make provides an even better sound rather than trying GET a good sound by modifications.

the gt2 will be a go fast car...no ifs ands or buts...the rarri seems to be more of a "motoring experience with exotic flavor" type of auto...
And as for the gt2/turbo not sounding exotic...well...hear them in thier natural guise and youll see that "pretty" or "beautiful" wasnt exactly the aim of the Porsche engineers...raw speed baby!
