holy bugatti batman! although i find it very difficult to believe that the SLR was that close to the CGT. the CGT is probably at least a good 800 lbs lighter with the same HP.

Agree 1000x. And we have yet to see how the car handles on a track.

Lot's of videos and info out there on Veyron's being tracked- as you would imagine it's fast as hell on the straights and decent in turns. It is limited by it's weight, but helped to some extent by the AWD grip.

I didn't like it when I first saw it, but it's looking better to me, now. Especially after seeing it handing that SLR its *** (itself, a semi-misfitted looking car). I think in the right two tone color combo the Bugatti looks pretty tough. I do agree it's not the most beautiful car, though.

For $1.4M, however, I'm thinkin' an F40, F50, a CGT and a lot of fuel.

Sorry, does this mean they will be next to each other in 7.3 seconds, or just traveling at the same rate (Veyron still behind) when they each hit 124?
I think the latter, just clarifying.

I love that they switched 'lanes' for the second run, I mean come on, even if the other lane was downhill the Mc didn't have a chance.

The SLR looks like it was thrown in reverse when the flag dropped.
