Well, I sold the Carrera GT and the McLaren SLR last week and bought the 2006 F430 Red Spider and 2007 F430 Black Coupe. I've said this before, not sure if I did it here, but the CGT and SLR were absolutely fantastic cars but for everyday use, just a little too raw or tough to drive a lot. I was only getting them out once every two weeks or so.

The F430s are just plain simple and fantastic to drive. Kinda like jumping in a Camaro or Mustang but you quickly figure out you're in a Ferrari. They're a pleasure to drive every day just like the 997 GT3RS is!

The 2005 Red F430 is going to be sold to my second son as soon as he gets back from Florida in in a week or two. He has a 2006 Z06 Corvette that he tentatively has sold and a 07 M5, the lease being up this Fall. I asked him several times if he was sure he wants to get rid of the two cars for the F430. He laughed and said "R U Kiddn?" I guess that means he really wants it! Mags

I hope you are not going to charge your son over the original MSRP for the '05 F430. 'com on, be a good dad, give it to him, and then adopt me and give me the RS for Xmas.

Just so I understand this...Porsche is rewarding you by giving you a car that they know you will sell for above MSRP. Sounds like a "hidden dealer incentive" to me. Wow, Porsche really is a classy company.

Damn bli8, That's looowww! Just gotta bust my gonads..... hell, just like my kids do! Heck, I promised to sell it to him for $20,000 under the average eBay selling price. I've spoiled him enough over the years. He's 30 now and gotta take on the world by himself sooner or later.

Needless to say, he knows he getting a fantastic deal plus he's well aware of how I pamper my cars. He's probably gone faster in the F430 when I let him drive it than I ever have.

He use to race Motocross and now the 'dumb ***' is track 'road racing' his Suzuki sport bike. I guess they can reach speeds of 130-140 in the straight aways! I'm gonna have to break his arms and legs so he'll stop that crazy sh_t! Mags

If that is the case, I hope Porsche takes the car back. They did it once already with an RS being sold before delivery over MSRP earlier this year and reallocated it to someone else.

wasnt that a dealer taking it from a customer trying to reap a profit on ebay pre-delivery?
and not from the dealer who when was advised of the situation,
sold it to the next in-line instead?
porsche can't dictate selling price to a dealer.
